Why Los Angeles Is the Right Fulfillment
    Location for Asia-Pacific Importers

The Port of LA and Long Beach together handle nearly a third of all containerized imports into the United States. The vast majority of that freight originates in China, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, and across Southeast Asia. For businesses sourcing from that part of the world, warehousing in Los Angeles means your inventory spends the minimum possible time in transit between the vessel and your fulfillment operation.

It also means faster ground delivery to customers across the Western US. For ecommerce businesses with a strong West Coast customer base, fulfilling from LA reduces both shipping cost and transit time compared to a single central or East Coast facility.

    Warehousing & Inventory Management

We provide warehousing at our LA facility with real-time inventory tracking through the NaviaHub. Stock levels, inbound container receipts, and outbound order movements are all visible in one place, updated continuously so your team has an accurate picture without waiting on warehouse reports.

    Pick, Pack, & Same-Day Dispatch

We pick and pack orders to a 99.95% accuracy rate, with same-day dispatch at 99% for orders received before the agreed cut-off. For high-volume ecommerce operations where a fulfillment error costs more than just a return, that accuracy is tracked and reported continuously, not reviewed quarterly.

    Ecommerce Platform Integrations

We connect natively with Shopify, Amazon (DTC and FBA), eBay, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and Squarespace. Orders flow in automatically from every connected sales channel, and inventory updates push back in real time. ERP and WMS systems connect via API.

    Returns Management

Returns are received and processed at our LA facility. Sellable stock is inspected and returned to available inventory. Non-sellable items are flagged with a report so your team can decide on next steps. The full returns picture is visible in the NaviaHub.

    Inbound Freight From Asia-Pacific - Handled In-House

This is where Navia's LA operation is genuinely different. We manage inbound ocean freight from China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, and across Southeast Asia directly through the Port of LA and Long Beach, handle customs clearance in-house, and deliver inventory into our warehouse facility. Our offices in Malaysia and Australia mean we have in-house teams at origin managing your cargo before it reaches the vessel. No separate freight forwarder, no third-party customs broker, one team managing the full chain.

Every Navia customer gets it as standard, whether you're dispatching 50 orders a day or 5,000.

    Get in touch

Do you handle customs clearance at the Port of LA as part of the 3PL service?

Yes. Our in-house customs team handles clearance for sea freight arriving through the Port of LA and Long Beach, as part of the same service. Your inventory moves from vessel to our warehouse without you managing a separate customs broker relationship.

Can you handle both FCL and LCL inbound shipments?

Yes. We manage full container loads and less than container loads through the Port of LA and Long Beach. If your volumes don't fill a full container, we consolidate with other freight to keep inbound costs down.

Is LA the right fulfillment location if I sell nationally, not just on the West Coast?

It depends on where your customers are concentrated. If a significant portion of your orders go to the Western US, LA is a strong base. If your customer base is spread evenly across the country, a combination of West Coast and Central or East Coast fulfillment often produces better delivery times and lower shipping costs. We'll help you model that before making a recommendation.

    How do I get started?

Contact our LA team with details on where you're sourcing from, your order volumes, and where your customers are. We'll come back with a proposal covering inbound freight and fulfillment together.
