Why Chicago Works for Central US Fulfillment

From Chicago, ground delivery reaches 50% of the US population within 24 hours and 90% within 48 hours. For ecommerce businesses serving a national customer base, that coverage from a single facility is difficult to match from anywhere else in the country. For wholesale businesses distributing to Midwest retailers, Chicago is simply the natural center of gravity.

Inbound sea freight for Chicago-based importers typically arrives through the Port of LA or Long Beach on the West Coast, or through New York and Savannah on the East Coast, then moves by rail or intermodal into the Chicago metro. We manage the full inbound cycle, from overseas origin through customs clearance at the port of entry and rail or road delivery into our Chicago facility.

    Warehousing & Inventory Management

We provide warehousing at our Chicago facility with real-time inventory tracking through the NaviaHub. Stock levels, inbound receipts, and outbound order movements are all visible in one live view, updated continuously so your operations team always has an accurate picture.

    Pick, Pack, & Same-Day Dispatch

Orders are picked and packed to a 99.95% accuracy rate, with same-day dispatch at 99% for orders received before the agreed cut-off. For Midwest distribution where next-day ground delivery to a significant portion of the country is achievable, that dispatch consistency is what makes it work.

    Ecommerce Platform Integrations

We connect natively with Shopify, Amazon (DTC and FBA), eBay, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and Squarespace. Orders flow in automatically from every connected channel, inventory updates push back in real time, and everything is visible in one dashboard. ERP and WMS systems connect via API.

    Returns Management

Returns are received and processed at our Chicago facility. Sellable stock goes back into available inventory after inspection. Non-sellable items are flagged and reported in the NaviaHub so your team can make the right call on next steps.

Inbound Freight - From Origin to Chicago

We manage inbound ocean or air freight from your overseas supplier, handle customs clearance in-house at the port of entry, and coordinate the inland move into our Chicago warehouse, whether that's by rail through one of Chicago's major intermodal terminals or by road from the coast. One team manages the full journey, and everything is visible in the NaviaHub from the moment your goods leave the factor

How does inbound sea freight reach Chicago?

Most inbound ocean freight for our Chicago facility arrives via the West Coast, through the Port of LA or Long Beach, then moves by rail or intermodal into the Chicago metro. Some freight routes via the East Coast through New York or Savannah depending on the trade lane. We'll advise on the most cost-effective routing for your specific origin when you get a quote.

Do you handle customs clearance, or do I need a separate broker?

We handle customs clearance in-house at the port of entry as part of the same service. You don't need a separate customs broker relationship.

Is Chicago a good fulfillment base if I sell nationally?

Yes, it's one of the strongest single-facility locations for national fulfillment in the US. The combination of road, rail, and air access means ground delivery covers most of the country within two days, and O'Hare provides overnight air freight connections for time-sensitive orders.

    How do I get started?

Contact our Chicago team with details on where you're sourcing, your order volumes, and where your customers are. We'll come back with a proposal covering inbound freight and fulfillment together.
